As a frequent traveler, I’ve had the privilege of staying at numerous locations, but Metlakatla Inn holds a special place in my heart. After almost three years of regular visits for work, I can confidently say it feels more like home than any other place I’ve stayed. The recent remodels have elevated the experience, but it’s the warm hospitality from Dale and his wife that truly sets it apart. Their genuine care and attention to detail make every stay exceptionally comfortable. If you’re looking for a home away from home, look no further than Metlakatla Inn.

I was super impressed with Dale’s place. My room was spacious and comfortable; Dale and his wife clearly paid attention to detail with great touches such as coffee and a fridge in the room and wifi at no extra charge despite it being expensive on the island. We had two breakfast and dinners at the inn. The food was delicious & plentiful. Dale was also extremely helpful with our planning. I will be back to take my family to the sites and enjoy a great community!

The Metlakatla Inn is a clean, comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The rooms are well kept with a small refrigerator, Keurig, and microwave. Dale is an awesome host and his sister-in-law is  a great cook. Located near the center of the main areas of town, short walk from schools and town hall. Highly recommended.

The owners Dale and Essie will ensure your stay is comfortable and safe. This hotel is unlike other hotels. They feature a full kitchen to prepare your own meals, large gathering room, spacious rooms with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig w/ coffee. They also featured a convenience store with all sorts of goodies!
